Fishing Report
Monday, August 04, 2008 The Tuna season is in full swing. We have been catching Bluefin on the inshore trips with some nice dolphin mixed in and the yellowfin are showing up with good reports in the offshoere reports. We still have some openings for tuna as well as spots for 4 hr,6hr and hour trips inshore. Blue fish are plentiful. We have been running a lot of 4 and 6 hour trips with most parties limiting out on the blues. Capt Greg put a few parties n the flounder and king fish. Give us a call while we still have some openings. Capt. Bob @ 609 226 9122 Wednesday, July 02, 2008 The drum season was the best we have seen in years. They are still catching a few. We have turned our efforts to bluefishing. Family fun,the blue fish bend the rods and everyone gets to take a few of these tasty fish home for dinner. They are averaging 2-3 lbs. Good eating size. There is plenty of flounder around but we haven't been able to manage a lot of keeper size. The sea bassing has been good but the run in 20+ miles. In the Ladies Invitational Bluefish Tournament last week we managed go get some blues but a pleasant surprise to the ladies was 3 blue fin tuna. The blue fin fishing has picked up and most boats are doing pretty well with them. Give us a call we have openings for blue fin tuna. The run is only 40 - 45 miles. Now is the time if you want blue fin. Monday, June 09, 2008 The Black Drum fishing this past week was nothing short of fantastic. This has been the best season I can remember. I still have a couple openings before it draws to a close give me a call @ 609 226 9122. Also I had an emergency cancellation for the SJ shark tournament 6/13, 6/14, if anyone needs a boat give Bob a call @ 609 226 9122. Wednesday, June 04, 2008 Drum fishing has been outstanding. We still have some openings. Get in on the action while it lasts. Most parties taking one drum per person home and releasing the rest. This has been the best drum season we have has in years. Most of the fish taken lately have been inthe 50 - 70 lb range while 11 year old Brandon Poe pulled in a 67 pounder by himself and the same trip His dad got an 84 pounder. The Rich Lennon party out last Sunday John Barr got a 65 pounder while his daughters Mattie and Sarah each caught ones the beat dad's. Give bob a call while you can still get in on the action. 609 226 9122. Sunday, May 04, 2008 The Drum have finally made their appearance and started to bite. We had the Brian Marino party out and his son Vince showed him how it was done boating our first drum of the season.
